ABOUT THE AUTHORS: Susan L. Brooks is the Associate Dean for Experiential Learning and an Associate Professor of Law at the Drexel University Earle Mack School of Law. Robert G. Madden is a Professor of Social Work at Saint Joseph College, where he currently serves as Special Assistant to the President. He is also a Lecturer in Law at the University of Connecticut. The authors dedicate this article in fond remembrance of Bruce Winick, a co-founder of the Therapeutic Jurisprudence movement and a leader in the field of Humanizing Legal Education, who embodied the highest ideals of ethics and professionalism as a teacher, scholar, and practitioner.
